Red Velvet Papi is a New York based rapper, singer-songwriter, producer and engineer.

What Started off as a cheeky Instagram handle, paying homage to Drake, turned into a well suited artist name for New York-born rapper, singer-songwriter, producer and engineer Red Velvet Papi. But don’t let the cheekiness fool you, he approaches music in a very intentional way: choosing every element carefully, telling a compelling story and building his own world.

At the age of 11, he began his musical journey in production and continually honed his skills and talents. Though initially he only produced for friends, he eventually gained the confidence to step to the forefront as a vocalist and in March of 2018, Red Velvet Papi made the leap from board to booth with the release of his debut single “Martian”. Since then he has released several projects, including “All Time Lo-Fi”, “Grey” and most recently, “I Love You So Much… Sometimes It Hurts”. All of which have been self produced and yielded fan support and industry approval from the likes of Spotify, Audiomack, DJBooth, Pop Cultr and Swidlife, to name a few.

Keeping vulnerability as the anchor, Red Velvet Papi continues to work towards making the best music he possibly can and building an extensive catalogue that his current and future fans will be able to enjoy for years to come.
